How do we handle the fighting, time outs, apologies, plus the firm tone/ actions that we, as moms, have to give. It’s exhausting! Compassion or Kripalu yoga seeks to connect mind, body and soul, that combination that makes each one of us a miracle—a unique child of God.This practice offers the full range of centering, warm-ups, strength and flexibility through breathwork and asana (poses), with plenty of time for savasana (integration.) Modifications available to accommodate injuries and your individual body.
Bring your own mat and blanket; props and/or bolster if you have them. Also, if you can’t make it right at 5:30 due to scheduling, feel free to pop in and join when you can. Danielle Jones will be leading us into taking time to nurture wholeheartedness in ourselves and others by digging into scripture together, taking a little time for personal reflection, and connecting with other women who are traveling down the road of faith and life. Come and walk with us! It’s a great opportunity to make new friends and get some exercise. Through March, we walk indoors at the Plymouth Dome. You will need a jacket—layering is a good idea. Can’t make it at exactly 9:00 a.m.? No problem— it’s easy to locate the group on the track. In April, we will start at the main entrance to the church under the portico.
