Announcing our new Minister of Congregational Life, Reverend Danielle Jones
It is with great anticipation and excitement that we announce the selection of our Minister of Congregational Life, The Reverend Danielle Jones. Danielle is a passionate church leader who thrives on developing caring relationships, building innovative congregational programs, and empowering lay leaders to engage in ministry. She is known as a magnetic, collaborative innovator who loves the church.
Danielle, her husband, Brian, and their two daughters, Campbell, age eight (third grade), and Charlotte, age six (Kindergarten), live in St. Louis Park. Danielle has spent the last ten years in ministry at Colonial Church of Edina, the majority of the time as Minister of Congregational Life and Staff Development. She previously earned a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in California, and an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Psychology from Iowa State University.
Danielle is a natural fit for a role that requires a passion for people, as well as an ability to work collaboratively to create multiple pathways for deeper engagement in the life of the church. Danielle will lead and provide vision to the new Congregational Life Team, which will include the Minister of Pastoral Care and Counseling. She will serve as liaison to the Board of Deacons and as a gifted partner to our wonderful clergy team and full staff.
