Wayzata Symphony Orchestra

The Wayzata Symphony Orchestra brings together accomplished and passionate musicians to engage the community with enlightening concert presentations.  Guided by principles of excellence in performance and organization, members enjoy an environment of fun, trust, honor and exchange. Now in its 8th season , the WSO, with Music Director Marlene Pauley, has attracted a growing and devoted audience throughout the Twin Cities. The WSO is proud to be the orchestra in residence at Wayzata Community Church. The concerts are free.

Brahms Requiem
Sunday, February 19, 3:00 p.m.
The program will feature Johannes Brahms: Requiem Free with guest artists, Two Rivers Chorale, Tim Sawyer, Director; and Edina Chorale, Tom Paulson, Director. Tracey Engelman, Soprano. Thomas Glass, Baritone. The concert is free.

The Planets
Sunday, April  30, 3:00 p.m.
This concert will feature Gustav Holst: The Planets, Op. 32. Each of the seven movements in this suite is named after a planet in the Solar System and its corresponding astrological character as defined by Holst. The concert is free.
