Tri-Faith Service of Remembrance & Hope
Wayzata Community Church
Sunday, September 11, 2016
Traditions Service, 10:45 a.m.
In a spirit of unity and respect, leaders from Jewish, Muslim, and Christian faith communities will gather in solidarity for a service of remembrance and hope marking the 15th Anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.

Music, prayer, readings, and sacred scripture from all 3 faith traditions will shape this memorable occasion.  As the host Pastor, the Rev. Dr. John F. Ross will offer a homily based on Psalm 23.  The service will include the Artaria string quartet, bagpipes, and a flag raising by local firefighters. In addition to marking the importance of this day, this service kicks off a series of shared worship experiences in local congregations of all three Abrahamic faiths.  Please see the schedule below of faith partners, dates, locations, and descriptions.

We encourage and welcome everyone of all faiths and beliefs to come and participate in this experience of trust, acceptance, respect, and unity.
