Free Community Meal in November
Wednesdays, November 5, 12 and 19
5:15 to 6:30 p.m. in Mithun Hall
As the government shutdown continues, many of our friends and members are facing financial and food insecurity due to working without pay and changes in the SNAP benefits for our low income and disability community. In response to these needs, we will be offering a Community Meal at no charge to all who need it. Each Wednesday evening in November, you are invited to come to dinner between 5:15-6:30 p.m. in Mithun Hall. If you need a free meal, it is yours— no questions asked. If you have extra to share, we will be taking freewill donations to support the cost of these meals. It is our call to care for one another, and during this season of gratitude, this is one small way we can take care of each other.
FALL/WINTER MENUS
October 29: Sweet & Sour Chicken, Lemon Scented White Rice, Egg Rolls, and Cookies. Entree Salad: WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
November 5: Classic Beef Tacos, Fiesta Rice, Fixin’s Bar, and Churros. Entree Salad: WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
November 12: Maple Glazed Ham, Macaroni and Cheese, Steamed Peas, Rolls, and Cookies. Entree Salad: WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
November 19: Indoor Grill- Out Burgers/Brats/Hot Dogs, Potato Salad, Beans, Corn, Watermelon, and Ice Cream Bars. Entree Salad: WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
November 26: Meat and Vegetable Lasagna, Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, and Assorted Bars. Entree Salad: None. Pizza by the slice is also available.
December 3: Chicken Dinner, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Corn, and Pumpkin Pie. Entree Salad: WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
December 10: Taco Night – Braised Pork Carnitas and Ground Beef, Fiesta Rice, Fixins’ Bar, and Churros. Entree Salad: WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
December 17: Tomato Soup, House Salad, Grilled Cheese, and Cake. Entree Salad: WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
January 7: Tator Tot Hotdish, House Salad, Green Beans, Dinner Roll, and Assorted Bars. WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
January 14: Breakfast for Dinner! Omelets, Jojo Potatoes, Sausage Links, French Toast, and Donut Holes. WCC Salad. Pizza by the slice is also available.
