WEDNESDAYS – Beginning September 11
Homework & Hang
Wednesdays in The Corner, 4:00 p.m.
Wednesdays are busy nights at WCC, so Homework & Hang provides an after-school space for middle schoolers to do homework, play games, and chill until their next activity, whether it be choir, dinner, or youth group! Check in at The Corner (the room by the Gym) to get your nametag and a light snack before settling in for some good ol’ H&H. Homework & Hang begins at 4:00 p.m. but students may arrive at any time prior to 6 p.m. (There will be a space set aside on the third floor for students if they need a place to go after youth group as well.)
Middle School Youth Group
6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in The Loft (3rd floor)
Wednesday night youth group is our high-energy weekly program for middle schoolers at WCC! We meet in the Loft (large group room on the 3rd floor) for music, games, skits, scripture-based messages, and small group discussions that help middle schoolers explore their relationship with God and their community. Along with our caring and awesome adult leaders, we strive to create an environment where students can encounter God’s love, find belonging in community, and grow in their ability to live the values of their faith in everyday life!
SUNDAYS – Beginning September 8
9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. in The Corner
During contemporary worship, students are invited to meet in the Corner for our other weekly program for middle schoolers. We meet at 9:00 for some light breakfast treats before diving into our morning together. We will play games, study the Bible, and occasionally attend worship together. Middle School Sundays are a great option if your student prefers a more mellow activity, with all the fun and meaningful conversations still at its core.

Join us for this incredible overnight experience for middle schoolers where we will learn about the realities of people experiencing homelessness. Throughout the night, there will be a service project, educational activities, and meaningful spiritual conversations around the topic homelessness and how we should respond to it as people of faith. We will have a blast decorating our sleep-out boxes and connecting with one another. We will also raise money for IOCP’s work to support people experiencing poverty in our communities.
