Fall Programs
Sundays
Beginning September 10
9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. in the Corner (1st Floor)
Middle School Sundays are back in a new and exciting way! Each week we will be engaging in a different activity, including but not limited to Bible study, small service projects, attending worship together, volunteering with younger children, and more! Because we’ll be busy with different activities from week to week, be sure to join us in the Corner promptly at 9 a.m. to enjoy some light breakfast treats before we head to whichever location we’ll be at that week!
Wednesdays
Homework & Hang
Every Wednesday, 4:00-9:30 p.m. in the Corner and 3rd Floor
Wednesday nights at WCC are full of activities and excitement, and we want to make sure you’re here for it all! ”Homework & Hang” is an after-school and all-evening program that provides middle and high school students a place to go during their down time before, after, or between other programs. We will provide supervised spaces for a church-style study hall that include table space to do homework, power strips for device charging, cards and board games, and light snacks. Students will need to check in and wear their name tags, as they do with other programs, to participate. Please stay tuned for future communications about which locations will be utilized for Homework & Hang throughout the evening.
Please contact Ann Hunhoff or Mike Solberg if you would like to serve as an adult supervisor for Homework & Hang. We will put together a rotating schedule of volunteers, and there is opportunity for a paid position if you can commit to set hours on a weekly basis.
Middle School Youth Group
beginning September 13
6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the Loft (3rd floor)
Wednesday nights are back and better than ever! We’ll be in a new location, and all the great things about Middle School Youth Group are coming with us! We will have incredible music, upbeat games, silly skits, relevant teaching series, Biblical and engaging talks, and dedicated small group times led by our incredible adult leaders. Wednesday night Youth Group will be a high-energy experience where students can come to know God’s Love and find a sense of belonging in their community.
