HIGH SCHOOL SUNDAYS
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in The Corner
On Sunday mornings, high school students are often scattered all over, from helping in Sunday School to filling out sermon notes in church to competing in tournaments all around the state. But, if you’re looking for a place to gather with other high school students, share a treat and have some good conversations, this is the place for you. Come when you aren’t scattered doing those other things. We’ll also include some service projects and attend worship together from time to time.
WEDNESDAYS
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP
7:30 – 9:00 p.m. in The Loft
Wednesday nights at WCC are the home base for all of our student ministries. Come experience the inclusive love of God and find a place to belong just for High School students at 7:30 p.m. Our nights are full of fun, bold music, goofy characters, relevant teaching, and meaningful conversations. We have a great time up on the 3rd floor, but more than that, it’s a place to encounter a caring community of spiritual growth and a heart for justice. See you up in The Loft!
Wednesday Youth Band
Do you sing or play a musical instrument? We’re looking for high school youth to sing and play in our band. You don’t have to be the best musician — you just need a passion for learning and playing new music and working with a great group of youth and adults to bring that music to student ministries on Wednesday nights. High schoolers and middle schoolers are invited to join us for a Paint & Sip event on the afternoon of Sunday, January 12th. From Bob Ross & hot cocoa to boujee & bubbly (water, of course), we will be painting and sipping in our small group rooms, each with its own distinct vibe. Materials such as canvas, paper, paints, and brushes will all be provided. There will also be drinks and fun snacks. Cost: $10.

Come hang out with our friends in the Parables Disability Ministry for the evening at WCC! There is something for everyone: open gym, music, pizza, and movie night. Bring a friend, and come be a friend! And we’ll all go out for food afterward.

8th-12th graders are invited to join us on a service learning trip to the southside of Chicago in the Hyde Park neighborhood. There, we will learn the rich history of the neighborhood, meet some of its residents, and serve alongside some of the organizations that work to build up the community.
