Easter Offering: Cranberry Ridge Support and Services
Nine years ago, we began exploring the possibility of helping to build affordable housing in our own neighborhood. We partnered with Beacon Interfaith Collaborative and we raised $500,000 to help make sure that a new development could be built in Plymouth, ensuring that 45 more families could have a place to call home. Nine months ago construction at Cranberry Ridge was finally complete, and it is now at full capacity.
We believe that our partnership with Cranberry Ridge is not over. Interfaith Outreach is providing on-site social services for individuals and families at Cranberry Ridge. These services include the Neighborhood Program and Case Management. This year our Easter Offering will go to help provide these important supports and services. It took us 9 years to build these homes and we want to be good neighbors by ensuring that the people who live at Cranberry Ridge have the services they need to thrive in their new homes and in our neighborhood. Your generous gifts will help support families who are in need of additional support and services.
Thank you for loving our neighbors in tangible ways through your gifts. Kevin Ward, Executive Director of Interfaith Outreach, will speak in our worship services on Sunday, April 2 to share more about Cranberry Ridge and how we can be welcoming neighbors to these new families.
