THIS WEDNESDAY! Christmas Crossroads!
On Wednesday, December 19 from 5:45-8:30pm we’re going offsite for some fun! Wear your best tacky Christmas sweater or Christmas clothes and join us for a night of offsite fun as we celebrate Christmas together as a Middle School group! We’re excited to get a little crazy and play lazer tag & whirlyball! Invite a New friend to attend for free using the discount code- NEWFRIEND

MLK Jr Ski, Board & Tubing Day!
Looking for an activity for your kids while they are off school?
Join us for a fun day in the snow on MLK Jr. Day on MONDAY, JANUARY 21 at Powder Ridge. We will enjoy a full day of tubing, skiing or snowboarding from 8:30am-5pm. PICK WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO FOR THE DAY OR BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT. Drop off will be at WCC at 8:30am and pick up at WCC at 5pm. Please send your child along with a lunch or money to buy lunch. Friends are always welcome to join us!

Volunteer to provide food for our Students!
We spend a lot of money on food for our Middle Schoolers every year. With your help, we can use that money to instead create more experiences for our students!
MS Sun AM DOUGHNUTS/POP TARTS/CEREAL, JUICE & FRUIT:
Please sign up to provide some sort of breakfast food or juice and fruit for our Middle Schoolers to enjoy on Sunday mornings while we are learning about the different people in the Bible. Please drop them off before 9am on Sunday morning outside of the Middle School Corner (off the West Entrance) OR DROP FOOD OFF THE WEEK BEFORE IF YOU WON’T BE AT CHURCH ON SUNDAY!
WEDNESDAY AFTER SCHOOL HEALTHY SNACKS:
Our Middle Schoolers are hungry right after school and appreciate a snack as they spend time with friends and work on homework. Please help provide healthy snacks for our Middle Schoolers after school. I usually provide some sort of variety of the following- fruit, cheese sticks, crackers, carrots with ranch, hummus, chips & salsa, microwave popcorn, etc. We have about 30 Middle Schoolers that show up. Please drop it off on the date stated or before!
Have Extra Fun Size Candy around your home? Donate it to WCCMS! We enjoy a fun size treat during our small groups on Wednesday nights! You can drop it off at WCC at the main office or the Middle School Corner with Middle School written on it!

The Last Few Weeks
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2
- We talked about what it would be like to be the Innkeeper in the Christmas story and how the story might have been different if the Innkeeper hadn’t taken a chance on helping Mary and Joseph. We talked about how we can take a chance helping others.
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5
- We shared about our Christmas traditions with our small group after hearing Leader Katherine, share about a few of her Christmas Traditions.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9
- The Wise Men were our focus for this Sunday! We talked about how the Wise Men were seeking out Jesus. We shared how we can still seek out Jesus and share Jesus love with others.
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12
- We enjoy celebrating Christmas with our small groups! A fun tradition we’ve been doing in WCCMS for 5 years!

Where’s CBW?
I LOVE SEEING WHAT MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT OUTSIDE OF WCC but getting their event schedule is pretty challenging sometimes! I need your help, please let me know about your middle schooler’s events (THINK PLAYS, GAMES, MUSICAL PERFORMANCES, SHOWS, SCHOLAR COMPETITIONS, ETC!)
