HOLY SPIRITS: DWELT
Wednesday, December 19
Offsite— Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Dwelt: What does it mean for Jesus to move into our neighborhood this holiday season? In what ways do we prepare our homes for all the fun, and festivities, for the hustle of families, and the onslaught of parties and meals?  Better yet, this Advent season how are you making your life?  With every action, with every word, we make our lives better or worse. But here’s the beauty of what we believe this Advent season. Not only are we making our lives but the spirit of God is making her life with us. So let’s mark this season with a Party! Let’s celebrate Jesus coming to town. Join us December 19 for Holy Spirits: Dwelt. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Location to be announced soon. Come early to eat and hang out!

BLUE CHRISTMAS
Thursday, December 20, 12 noon and 7:00 p.m., Chapel

The celebrations of this holy season have a way of shining light on our griefs, fears, and longings, so that we feel them more deeply.  We invite you into the simple warmth and beauty of this Advent Candlelight Worship.  Through scripture, prayers, music and message, we offer you the gift of a time to reflect on the comfort and hope of this season – for you, for those you love, for the wider world.  This special service will be led by our Pastoral Care clergy and Tapestry musicians.

LIGHT THE LABYRINTH
Friday, December 21, 5:00 p.m. in the Courtyard Labyrinth
Light the Labyrinth is a new Christmas event that will awaken us to the light of Jesus entering our world. You will be encouraged to engage your shadows and your own light, and how you perceive each of them.

This event will draw on the parallels to your own day-to-day life… the way in which the shadows of your life change during the course of the day, and how the atmosphere of a space changes depending entirely on how we share our light. Hosted on the winter solstice— also known as midwinter— we will prepare the way of the light breaking into our darkness. Join us as we sing Advent hymns, walk, and light the labyrinth.
