Thank you to everyone who came to see the documentary, Angst on Wednesday night. After many requests and questions about when we will be showing it again, we are working on finding another time to show it again for those that were not able to attend. Stay tuned!

Ash Wednesday & Mission in Motion
Next Wednesday, March 6 is Ash Wednesday and we will have different programming.
4-6pm- Mission in Motion- Middle Schoolers can volunteer to help run a service project to show younger children how to do that project for an hour and/or they can work on 10 different service projects and learn about the non-profit organizations from representatives in our community.
5:15-6:30pm- Community Meal- Dinner will be served for $5.
6:30pm- Ash Wednesday Service for everyone in Sanctuary including music, message, communion, and ashes.
WE WILL NOT HAVE AFTER SCHOOL TIME OR CROSSROADS ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6.
Lucky Leprechauns Crossroads
On Wednesday, March 13 from 6-8:30pm, wear your favorite shade of green and join us for a night of offsite fun for St Pat’s Day and (hopefully the start of spring!) as a Middle School group! We’re putting on some socks and trampolining the night away, playing a little putt-putt to try to get a hole in one and joining forces to laser tag the other team! New Friends are always welcome to join too! Invite a New friend to attend for free using the discount code- NEWFRIEND! Check-in begins at 5:45pm.
$15 Early Bird (before March) ($20 in March) Scholarships are available.

Angst Documentary Screening & Anxiety Discussion
Anyone 11 years old & older is invited to join us for the screening of Angst, a documentary about anxiety. Following the screening, we will have a discussion about anxiety, facilitated by licensed therapists.
Any Adults & Middle School or High School Students are welcome to join us for this event!

We are excited about all that Summer 2019 will bring! We want to get dates to you as early as we know them so that you can plan your Summer. We have a lot of amazing ministry for your Middle Schooler to be involved in this summer and we want to get the dates out to you so you can start to put them on your calendar, talk to friends and plan for your Middle Schooler to spend time with us this summer!

SUMMER STRETCH- for current 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th Graders!

Join us this Summer as we stretch our faith through service projects and fun fellowship activities. Summer Stretch is an all-day activity. Please plan to be a part of the whole day.

SUMMER FUN WITH OUR MS LEADERS- for current 6th, 7th & 8th Graders!
- DATES TO BE DETERMINED IN LATE SPRING
Back by popular demand! Last Summer was our first Summer of Summer Fun with MS Leaders and it was a BLAST! Middle School Leaders will offer different fun activities to do with a group of MSers to get to know different MSers. There will be a limit to how many Middle Schoolers can sign up. When it’s full, it’s full. We will post different events on June 1, July 1 & August 1 for each month through an email and social media. Have fun as a group & enjoy meeting some new friends & spending time with other leaders! Depending on the activity, there might be a fee or you might be asked to bring something to share with the group! Last years events included biking and ice cream, going to a Ninja Warrior Course, Backyard BBQ with Lawn Games, Hiking at Baker Park, Mini Golf, Swimming at Long Lake Beach, and going to a Twins Game!

The Last Few Weeks
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 17
- Simon Peter’s story is powerful because it connects to our own humanity and how fearful Peter acted in a lot of situations with Jesus. We shared our fears with one another and asked if others had the same fears. We talked about that it’s ok to have fears, even those that were really close to Jesus had fear.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20
- After a snow day, we enjoyed playing some games together to let out some built up energy!
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24
- We talked about Mary & Martha and if Jesus prefers those who work hard or those who sit and listen. We can serve others in our everyday life and we shouldn’t keep score when doing so.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27
- We watched the documentary Angst and then talked about anxiety and how we can help support each other. If you missed it, we are working on picking another date to show Angst again.

Where’s CBW?
I LOVE SEEING WHAT MIDDLE SCHOOLERS ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT OUTSIDE OF WCC but getting their event schedule is pretty challenging sometimes! I need your help, please let me know about your middle schooler’s events (THINK PLAYS, GAMES, MUSICAL PERFORMANCES, SHOWS, SCHOLAR COMPETITIONS, ETC!)
